The Ministry of the Economy launches a strategic initiative aimed at assessing the Luxembourg start-up ecosystem in order to identify further steps to bring the ecosystem towards a next level of development over the upcoming years.

At the invitation of the President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, TT.RR.HH. the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess visited the Portuguese Republic from 11 to 12 May 2022.

As part of the economic mission organised on the occasion of the State visit of TRHs the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess to Portugal, the Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot, made the welcome address at an event dedicated to the mutual discovery of the start-up ecosystems of Luxembourg and Portugal in Lisbon on Wednesday 11 May.

The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Jean Asselborn, accompanied by the Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot, and the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Luc Frieden, welcomed the ambassadors and representatives of the ten countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) for a working lunch at the Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday 4 May 2022.

The national innovation agency Luxinnovation has published its strategy for the period 2022-2025. This document served as a basis for the elaboration of the performance contract governing Luxinnovation's activities for the next four years, validated by the Government Council on 15 December.
