Software

Issuing energy performance certificates

Various software packages are available for issuing energy performance certificates (EPCs) according to the RGD 2021. For residential buildings these are the LuxEeB-Tool and Lesosai. The LuxEeB-F (IBP) software is used to assess the energy behaviour of functional buildings. The LuxEeB-Tool software can be downloaded free of charge, while the Lesosai and LuxEeB-F (IBP) can be purchased from the respective external supplier by following the links below. For each software, a customised licence is required to issue the EPC. Such a licence can be requested from the respective software supplier by any authorised expert according to the RGD 2021. The licence file contains its unique expert number which will appear on any EPC issued with the respective software. We recommend that the software is updated regularly to take account of any regulatory changes.
